In the aftermath of tornadoes that recently devastated communities in Kentucky, Illinois and other parts of the Midwest, the Verizon Foundation is making a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross.

Regions Bank announced a series of financial services to help people and businesses impacted by tornadoes that tore through much of the South and Midwest on the night of Dec. 10 and early morning of Dec. 11.

2.3 billion people lack year-round access to adequate food. We are taking action this season and have donated $150,000 to organizations providing hunger relief, including Feeding America, Save the Children India, & The European Food Banks Federation.

On Tuesday, Dec. 14, The Home Depot Foundation partnered with local nonprofit Project Homes to donate appliances and perform critical home repairs for the family of a World War II veteran just weeks after his passing. He settled in the Chesterfield, Virginia, home during the 1960s, and his daughter still lives there.
