The U.S. Chamber Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center today announced that Hugh Welsh, president and general counsel of DSM North America, will serve as chair of its advisory board for the coming year.

GreenBiz Group will host a Sustainable Tourism Summit during its VERGE Hawaii: Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit, which returns to Honolulu on June 20-22. The Summit will be produced in collaboration with the Hawaii Tourism Authority and global NGO, Sustainable Travel International, and will take place on Wednesday, June 21.

Oakland’s Fair Trade USA and apparel partners Patagonia, Outerknown, Obey, Athleta and Prana have collaborated on a photo project featuring portraits of company leaders and athletes associated with the brands wearing their favorite Fair Trade Certified products for Fashion Revolution Day on Monday, April 24. Among the featured athletes are free diver Kimi Werner and surfer Dan Malloy for Patagonia and climber Chris Sharma and surfer Kelly Potts for Prana. The “We Wear Fair Trade” project officially debuts on Fashion Revolution Day.

To mark the anniversary of the Rana Plaza Factory Collapse, Fair Trade USA will launch a digital photo campaign called “We Wear Fair Trade” with its apparel partners Patagonia, Outerknown, Obey, Athleta and Prana, on Fashion Revolution Day, April 24.

In an effort to mark the anniversary of the Rana Plaza Factory collapse, WWD reports that Fair Trade USA has gathered notable influencers and figures from the action sports and outdoor industries to participate in their new photo campaign, “We Wear Fair Trade.”

In the Business Roundtable’s recent annual report – titled “Create, Grow, Sustain: Delivering Shared Success” – Michael W. Lamach, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingersoll Rand, offered insight into the company’s approach to sustainability and the ways in which collaboration is used to build and share success. In the report he says:

Through my 20+ years at Qualcomm, I’ve participated in many of our celebratory events for International Women’s Day (IWD).
