An important part of the G&A Institute mission since our founding a decade ago is to help educate, inform and share critical information related to the above topics and positions. As an example we work closely with Skytop Strategies on many events such as the ESG Summit, 21st Century Company, and Future of Corporate Reporting that educate and inform on these subjects. We'd like to tell you about a few of our most recent initiatives in these areas.

No one sector can advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) alone. Gavin Cepelak, Vice President, Global Pro Bono, PYXERA Global, will be a panelist on Collaborating for the SDGs at the Conservation Conference 2016, November 3.

Three-quarters (76%) of Millennials consider a company’s social and environmental commitments when deciding where to work and nearly two-thirds (64%) won’t take a job if a potential employer doesn’t have strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices, according to the 2016 Cone Communications Millennial Employee Engagement Study. The study reveals that meaningful engagement around CSR is a business – and bottom line – imperative, impacting a company’s ability to appeal to, retain and inspire Millennial talent.

The current elephant poaching crisis costs African countries around USD $25 million annually in lost tourism revenue, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Communications. Comparing this lost revenue with the cost of halting declines in elephant populations due to poaching, the study determines that investment in elephant conservation is economically favorable across the majority of African elephants’ range.

Charles J. Hooker III has become the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Human Services. Keystone Human Services is one of Pennsylvania’s largest and most well respected human services organizations, serving the needs of men, women and children with disabilities since 1972.
