Bloom Energy to Install First−Ever Highrise Project at Morgan Stanley Global Headquarters in New York City

Morgan Stanley today announced that Bloom Energy will install a fuel cell system at the Firm’s global headquarters in New York City’s Times Square neighborhood. The fuel cell project at 1585 Broadway is expected to be fully operational in late 2016 and will provide approximately 750 kW of 24x7 high quality power to the Morgan Stanley building, equal to approximately 6 million kWh of clean electricity each year.

TerraPass Brings Green to the College Football Playoff National Championship

Top-ranked Clemson and No.2 Alabama will be facing off amidst more than orange and crimson at the College Football Playoff National Championship. TerraPass, a member of the Just Energy Group of companies will be greening up the game with carbon offsets and renewable energy credits (RECs); mitigating the game’s environmental impact. Playoff Fan Central, the CFP transportation fleet and competing teams’ travel and accommodations will be “carbon neutral” thanks to offsets provided by Terrapass.

Neil deGrasse Tyson's Science Talk Show 'StarTalk' to Return to Nat Geo Channel in Fall 2016

21st Century Fox's National Geographic Channel announced that its Emmy®-nominated science talk show StarTalk, hosted by renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, will return for a third season in fall 2016. The series, derived from Tyson's popular podcast of the same name, features Tyson in conversation with comedians, academics, and celebrity guests about how science affects their lives and careers. The third season premiere will also coincide with the release of the first StarTalk book, published by National Geographic Books and featuring vivid photography, the latest scientific facts, and quotes from previous and upcoming StarTalk guests.
