Eight years ago I received the call asking me to consider joining Trillium Asset Management as CEO. Since that time, we have seen more interest than ever in the field of sustainable investing from a wide variety of institutions, mainstream money managers, and families often driven by women and millennials, bringing assets over to impact. But we are also keenly aware that since the election, the new Administration is actively working to dismantle many of the key policy initiatives we have advocated over the last 35 years. So we are at an interesting crossroads. Looking out over the horizon, I see six emerging trends that I believe shed light on the future of sustainable investing.

LG Electronics USA announced the NeON® 2 ACe in collaboration with Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:ENPH) at Intersolar 2017 this week. The partnership between LG Electronics USA and Enphase Energy, Inc. was forged last year and aimed at making the solar solution an easier one to invest in. LG NeON® 2 ACe is the first of the partnership for residential installation and reduces installation time by half, compared with conventional modules, while also offering cutting edge technology.
Some argue that buildings with healthy features command up to a 20 percent rent premium over market rate, in addition to savings on operational costs. Launched in October 2014, WELL has registered or certified 450 projects, encompassing nearly 100 million sq. ft. of space in 27 countries, including 361 office projects.
