The Fifth Third Finance Academy has reached nearly 524,000 students since the beginning of the program. More than half of the students reside in a low- to moderate-income community.

Spring has arrived on time in Washington, DC. Tender yellow and white buds poke out of forsythias and magnolias. Warm sunshine and fresh, earthy smells fill the air. Nature is renewing itself like clockwork.

The student winners participated in an essay contest where they detailed how their experience with Finance Academy helped them prepare for their future endeavors.

Today, The Walt Disney Company and the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) announced the 2021 Disney UNCF Corporate Scholars Program, supported by a new $1 million commitment from Disney over three years to aid 50 scholars.

"I teach most of the IT workshops here, so most of these students were enrolled in my classes, and you could see a tremendous difference in attendance and engagement. Students were participating in group discussions, which was awesome."

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, schools have adapted instruction to meet the challenge of continuing students' education. As the pandemic continues, special attention needs to be paid to students’ mental health.

Focused on an array of diverse topics, these new virtual field trips connect learning to the real-world through relevant and timely digital content that supports learning wherever it takes place.
