Yesterday evening, Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service, announced the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States. The Civic 50 provides a national standard for superior corporate citizenship and showcases how companies can use their time, skills and other resources to improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business.

(NYSE: ARW) announced that Arrow Asia Pac Ltd., has been awarded “5 Years Plus Caring Company Logo” by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), recognising the company’s continuous commitment to caring for its staff and capitalising on its strengths and resources to give back to the community for five consecutive years.

Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG) is pleased to announce that the Company has been named to the elite Forbes America’s Best Employer 2017 List, an employer ranking based on the results of an independent survey conducted among 30,000 U.S. workers at companies and institutions across the country. Republic is the only recycling and waste company named to this year’s list. The Company is included in the Large Employer category, under Utilities.

CSX Corporation (Nasdaq:CSX) recently was named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine's list of Best Corporate Citizens for 2017. The company ranked 55th in its fifth appearance on the list and was the only railroad within the top 100.
