More than 1,900 Las Vegas Sands Team Members and community volunteers participated in the Sands Cares Global Hygiene Kit Build with Clean the World to assemble recycled hygiene supplies from hotel properties around the world for distribution to service organizations that aid vulnerable populations.
May is Duke Energy in Action volunteer month. In 2018, Duke Energy Florida introduced its “31x31: Championing 62 Causes in May” program. Our employees hosted 62 community employee engagement activities during the 31 days in the month of May. Employees participated in a wide variety of events while partnering with local non-profit or community organizations.

According to their website, Points of Light is the world's largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. The Civic 50 provides a national standard for superior corporate citizenship and showcases how companies can use their time, skills and other resources to improve the communities in which they do business. The award recognizes Aflac as one of the most community-minded companies in the United States.
