The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has named IBM as the large-business recipient of the 2015 Best Corporate Steward Award. The award recognizes businesses that serve as powerful forces for good around the world. Today on Citizen IBM, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Vice President Marc DeCourcey writes about IBM’s diverse portfolio of corporate citizenship initiatives, and why they garnered high recognition from the Foundation.

“Beau Rivage was selected as this year’s Corporate Partner of the Year in recognition of the support the Beau has given to the American Red Cross Southeast Mississippi Chapter in a number of ways, from board leadership and employee volunteer work, to the support for the Red Cross RendezVIEW and, for the past seven years, the Moonlight & Magnolias Gala, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Red Cross Southeast Mississippi Chapter Executive Director John McFarland. “Together the Red Cross and Beau Rivage have raised more than a half-million dollars for this chapter with this event alone. We know the Beau doesn’t do these things just for recognition, but we value the relationship so highly we want to recognize and honor MGM Resorts and Beau Rivage for all that they do."
