American Express has been named one of the 2018 NAFE Top Companies for Executive Women by the National Association for Female Executives, to recognize American corporations where women have significant clout to make the decisions that affect their company’s future and its bottom line. The CITGO Corpus Christi Refinery proudly accepted the Partner of the Year award at a Partner Appreciation ceremony, presented by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend on the evening of Feb. 22. The Partner of the Year honoree is selected based on overall commitment to the organization in the prior year. In addition to CITGO, other award recipients joined Boys & Girls Club board members at the event.

UNICEF USA has recognized Kimberly-Clark with the 2018 Children First Award for its ongoing efforts to raise awareness and funding for the global aid organization, and its collaboration with UNICEF on innovative projects to improve children’s health and wellbeing.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that Plant-for-the Planet has been awarded the Foundation’s Spirit of Arbor Day Award which recognizes an organization or community that fulfills the Foundation's mission of inspiring people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees through programs and activities that have been implemented within the past five years. The award will be presented at Plant-for-the Planet’s global youth summit in Monaco on Friday, March 9, 2018.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that the City of San Francisco and the Friends of the Urban Forest have been awarded the Foundation’s Champion of Trees Award which recognizes a government entity, community-based organization or partnership among such groups that has demonstrated exemplary leadership to develop and implement new policies and practices for municipal tree planting and care, natural area stewardship or arboriculture.

The Arbor Day Foundation has announced today that six individuals and organizations are the recipients of a 2018 Arbor Day Award in honor of their outstanding contribution to tree planting, conservation and stewardship.

Bloomberg L.P.’s headquarters at 731 Lexington Avenue has been certified by the Center for Active Design (CfAD) with a Fitwel 3 Star Rating, the system’s highest achievement level. Fitwel is the leading global health certification, evaluating evidence-based strategies in buildings that support human health. The Center for Active Design is the operator of the Fitwel Certification System and is an international not-for-profit organization that was launched in 2012 by then Mayor and founder of Bloomberg L.P. Michael Bloomberg.
