With its spring 2017 collection, global outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland builds off the brand’s long-term commitment to reduce the environmental impact of virtually every product it makes across footwear, apparel and accessories. The spring collection includes a broad range of responsibly-made products, from boots made with full-grain leathers from a Leather Working Group silver-rated tannery to polos made with 100 percent recycled cotton to backpacks made with 100 percent recycled polyester. Spring also marked the release of the new Timberland X Thread Collection, made with Thread™ Ground to Good™ fabric. Crafted from recycled plastic bottles collected from the streets and canals of Haiti, the collection creates both environmental and social value in the form of cleaner neighborhoods and meaningful new job opportunities. This spring, consumers will feel as good as they look in their Timberland® gear.
