Theresa Haywood-McCarley Shared How ON Semiconductor Built Out Their Award-Winning CSR Site Champion Program

For ON Semiconductor’s Senior Director of Quality Systems and Corporate Social Responsibility, Theresa Haywood-McCarley, and her team, making sure that their different manufacturing sites across the globe are compliant and ethically in line with their corporate social responsibility (CSR) priorities is a critical task.
In 2011, her colleague Amy Tan — ON Semiconductor Senior CSR Manager who leads CSR compliance and site audits — came up with the idea of building a network of champions to ensure all audiences, both internally and externally (customers), were aware of the company’s CSR goals as well as create a framework to assist with audits that are requested of the sites.
Theresa and her team saw the great opportunity it could present for their program and have been running with it ever since.
