HUNTINGTON, Ind., April 29, 2015 /3BL Media/ – On Friday, April 24, Miss Indiana Audra Casterline visited with health classes at Huntington North High School to discuss the warning signs and impact of eating disorders. This visit is part of a program sponsored by CITGO Petroleum Corporation, CITGO Marketer Johnson Petroleum and local Retailers Economart, Trading Post, and Stop & Shop.

“As an anorexia survivor, I’m familiar with the eating disorder warning signs and symptoms that aren’t commonly known,” said Casterline. “CITGO and Johnson Petroleum allowed me to share my story with local teens and encourage increased awareness that can also lead to prevention.”

Following the presentation, Casterline attended customer appreciation events at the Economart on 1977 East State Street and the Trading Post on 904 Etna Avenue. Huntington residents not only had the chance to meet Miss Indiana, but also received in-store specials and giveaways. Additionally, students who visited with Casterline and downloaded the Club CITGO mobile application were eligible to win a $10 CITGO Gift Card, free fountain drink or other in-store loyalty discounts.

“Consumers have choices when they stop for gas and we want to demonstrate our appreciation for their business,” said Ryan Johnson, president of Johnson Petroleum. “While discounts and promotions are a great way to thank our customers, we also want to positively affect our community through our support of Audra’s platform.”

CITGO, its Marketers and Retailers and their employees are significant contributors to community programs and initiatives in Indiana and across the CITGO marketing area.
