Deloitte supports 2011 Warrior Games

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) May 16, 2011 - Deloitte is proud to support the 2011 Warrior Games as the Presenting Sponsor for the second year. The event, hosted by the United States Olympic Committee’s Paralympic Military Program will feature 220 wounded, ill and injured servicemen and women from the Armed Forces competing in an Olympic-style national competition encompassing seven sports. It will be held May 16-21, 2011 in Colorado Springs. 

Deloitte’s support for the games allow us to give back to the communities we serve and help injured military personnel and veterans get back on the road to recovery by supporting them in their rehabilitation and transition back into society through Paralympic sports. More than 35 Deloitte professionals will volunteer their time and talent to participate in sports management, coordination, medals award ceremonies and other activities throughout the competition. Our experience and passion for helping people realize extraordinary achievements are shared by the Paralympic movement, and we are privileged to provide our services and support.
