For the 8th consecutive year, the Motorola Solutions Foundation hosted Global Months of Service, an annual volunteer-a-thon for Motorola Solutions employees. Volunteers logged more than 65,000 hours, marking a nearly 400% increase since 2020.
It’s a common misconception that the bigger and more complex a pro bono initiative is, the higher the impact will be for nonprofits, your employees, and the company itself. In fact, the biggest determinant of a program’s impact is not its scale or complexity but the quality of the match between employees’ expertise and nonprofits’ needs. Great pro bono initiatives have one thing in common – the right support for the right nonprofit at the right time.

Working across sectors and organizations, the East St. Louis community has come together to help young people feel safe and secure in their community, be ready to succeed in school and work and empower them to create change.
During #RebuildingMonth, Rebuilding Together affiliates are planning to complete over 1,700 rebuilding projects, including homes and community centers across the country.
Since its inception in 2010, the Fairfax Run for the Children has become a “must-do” event for runners, families and businesses across Northern Virginia. On average, this race attracts nearly 1,000 runners and walkers, 250 volunteers, and raises almost $85,000 each year to support Fairfax CASA’s advocacy work with abused and neglected children in the community.

On April 26, as part of our annual U.S. Pro Bono Summit, we’re hosting Bridging the Technology Divide: Using Human Capital to Drive Nonprofit Technology Fluency, Adoption, and Use. Together we’ll dig into the complexity and nuances of technology challenges among social change organizations and co-design how we can better utilize technology expertise moving forward.
In celebration of February’s Black History Month and March’s Women’s History Month, 21st Century Fox and AMC Theatres invited schools, community groups, and non-profit organizations to apply for special screenings of Academy Award-nominated Hidden Figures. Over 7,000 groups applied for free screenings, resulting in approximately 3,500 free tickets distributed across the U.S.
