Subaru of America, Inc. and Gifts for Good™ today announced the first-year results of their national customer appreciation gifting program, a key feature of Subaru’s Love-Encore™ vehicle delivery experience.
Kim Doyle Wille, a Colorado native, has been passionate about cooking since she was a young girl creating meals in her childhood home. Creating a nonprofit focused on healthy food options for the students and families in Garfield County was a natural way to turn that passion into action.
One of the largest events is the annual Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by The Briad Group – a Wendy’s franchise organization. For the past 16 years, Rick Barbrick, Brad Honigfeld, Dave Cahill and their teams have hosted this fun daylong golf tournament and dinner, inviting their partners to enjoy a day, rain or shine, dedicated to raising funds for the Foundation. Last year, this event, through the tremendous commitment of The Briad Group, raised an amazing $400,000 for the Foundation!
Disney's Hour of Code tutorials, created in close collaboration with code.org, aim to inspire children of all ages to learn the basics of coding in a fun and engaging way. Since 2014, more than 42 million students in over 180 countries have tried a Disney Hour of Code tutorial. In 2016, Disney and code.org's Moana Hour of Code tutorial was recognized with a Gold Halo Award for Best Education Campaign and a Silver Award in the category of Best Digital Campaign.

This year, insurance company Highmark Health subscribed to VolunteerMatch so its employees could more easily find projects that need their help and that fit their personal interests. VolunteerMatch also tracks service hours.
Since the site opened to workers in February, 2,300 of Highmark Health’s 40,000 employees have registered and logged 7,800 volunteer hours, said Judy Windom, who manages the company’s VolunteerMatch platform.
