In the heart of Seine-Saint-Denis, one of Paris’s youngest and most working-class departments where half of the 11-year-olds cannot swim, the legacy of Paris 2024 is set to benefit the local community.
MGM National Harbor, the world-class destination casino resort under construction in Prince George’s County, Md., kicked off “back-to-school” season by donating time and resources to local elementary and middle schools. As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and investment, MGM National Harbor participated in several events around the County to provide students, their families and their schools with much-needed funds and supplies.
Last week, TWC took another step forward in our commitment to “Go Green” by announcing a new two-year goal to meet a 30 percent carbon intensity reduction by the end of 2016. Through our Go Green initiative, we’re working to use fewer natural resources and generate less waste. We are committed to making a positive impact on our environment and will continue to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental issues.

From intrapreneurs, to entrepreneurs, to nonprofit executives, to corporate leaders – these individuals all have their own stories to tell, successes to share, lessons they’ve learned and tools they’ve used.
MGM Resorts employees raised over $5 million in 2014. As a result, the MGM Resorts Foundation was able to impact 251,980 individuals and families through grants for food, housing and self-sufficiency programs in that same time period. Employees raised the funds through a variety of activities, including an annual giving campaign; individual fundraising events, and an employee talent show.
