College of Staten Island, which is a four-year, senior college of The City University of New York, and the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) have been named the winners of the two primary categories of the 2018 RecycleMania competition, sponsored by Rubbermaid Commercial Products®.

NFL, PepsiCo and U.S. Bank Stadium Partners Including Aramark, SMG and The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority Team up to Score First Zero Waste Legacy Project at Super Bowl LII

The NFL, in partnership with PepsiCo, Aramark, U.S. Bank Stadium and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, announced Rush2Recycle, a game plan to recover more than 90% - more than 40 tons - of stadium waste at Super Bowl LII on Sunday, Feb. 4. After months of preparation to eradicate trash materials from the stadium, the 90%+ gameday goal will maximize recycling and composting. This zero waste effort aims to leave a positive green legacy at U.S. Bank Stadium and in the Super Bowl host city, and create a playbook for other leagues, teams, site operators and fans to intercept waste in their communities.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Keep America Beautiful Kick Off Sixth Year of Recycling Partnership

The Dr Pepper Snapple Group/Keep America Beautiful Park Recycling Infrastructure Grant Program opened its 2018 application process today, offering new opportunities to make recycling convenient for communities across the country. Applications are open for submission at kab.org/parkrecycling through Feb. 16, 2018.

SC Johnson Takes Action to Save Racine Area Water

SC Johnson today announced a donation of $35,000 to the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network. The donation will support Root-Pike WIN’s restoration projects, with the goal of significantly reducing runoff pollution, flooding issues, and habitat degradation that threaten Racine, Wisconsin area streams and Lake Michigan.
