On May 19, 2016, Ideagen launched the Ideagen Global Ideation Challenge with the vital premise centered on health, education, and the empowerment of women and girls. CVS Health and the CVS Health Foundation today announced a $100,000 donation in cash and in-kind support to organizations providing relief efforts to flood victims in central Louisiana, including the Salvation Army USA Southern Territory and the American Red Cross.
In July Gyros Cycling Club hosted their 5th annual Velo4Yellow ride benefiting LIVESTRONG. This year’s charity ride had 415 riders and raised $10,000 to support LIVESTRONG cancer programs – bringing Velo4Yellow’s 5 year total to $30,000! Amazing. The 2016 LIVESTRONG Challenge is coming up on October 16, 2016. Starting in downtown Austin, participants can ride 20, 45, 65, or 100 miles on routes through the Texas Hill Country, or head out for the 5k run/walk.
