Common Impact, a national nonprofit leader for skills-based volunteerism, has announced the appointment of Wes Moe as director of consulting. The addition of Moe to the organization’s leadership team comes with Common Impact’s continuing expansion as the demand for pro bono service, corporate social responsibility and employee engagement grows. Reporting to COO Tara Cardone, Moe will manage and grow Common Impact’s skills-based volunteer programs, oversee the consulting team and partner with the organization’s cross-sector clients.

CECP created Investing in Society to capture the sum of social investments and impact made by businesses around the world. The new all-digital and interactive report, launched in July 2018 and updated in December 2018, covers the five focus areas of Priorities, Performance, People, Planet, and Policies. CECP has developed and released a pdf version that is meant to complement the website for easy archiving, printing, and sharing.

LA Kings Team Up With SoCalGas for Habitat for Humanity Build at L.A. LIVE

AEG’s LA Kings recently partnered with SoCalGas to build four playhouses to benefit Habitat for Humanity Los Angeles (Habitat LA) at L.A. LIVE on Friday, March 29. Employee volunteers from both organizations constructed and painted the fully functional playhouses which will be donated to Habitat LA partner families and ReStores, in addition to other local non-profit organizations that benefit children.
