While January is National Mentoring Month, T. Rowe Price associates around the world volunteer year-round to mentor and support children.

CapitaLand released its eighth Global Sustainability Report entitled “Building Sustainable Real Estate of the Future”. The report reaffirms CapitaLand’s commitment to sustainability and covers CapitaLand’s international portfolio in over 20 countries and global workforce of more than 12,700 employees.
The T. Rowe Price Foundation, in partnership with the Maryland Association of Nonprofits, held a series of five capacity-building workshops during the past several months. The sessions focused on key capacities: leadership, adaptability, management, and technical skills (marketing and communication, fundraising, and development).
Five of Nevada’s most prominent employers are urging the Nevada Senate to pass Assembly Bill 206 for a strong clean energy standard for the state. The letter from the five companies – Dignity Health, eBay, Levi Strauss & Co., Switch and Unilever– urges support for the standard, which would increase the percentage Nevadans get from clean renewable energy from 20 percent, where it is now, to 50 percent by 2030.
Update: Last month, Las Vegas Sands Team Members in Las Vegas participated in the Sands ECO360 Spring Step Up Challenge as detailed in a previous story published on the Sands Confidential blog. The voluntary, 4-week walking challenge was designed as an internal initiative to promote more daily walking, as well as to raise awareness about energy conservation and carbon footprint reduction.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) articulate an agenda for the next 15 years (to 2030) with a view to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. The agenda requires input from all sectors of society across the globe, including corporate actors (Business and Industry) who are key in the achievement of the SDG targets.
