Baseline assessments come in all shapes and sizes and it's important to know what level of detail is required to create an accurate sustainability baseline so that you can track and monitor progress towards long term goals. How accurate does our baseline need to be? What information should you gather? Now that you have all this information what do you do with it?

John Purkis, Senior Manager and Senior Advisor at The Natural Step Canada will explore the connection between the long term goals and vision of an organization and the baseline and a process to conduct  a sustainability baseline assessment. During this webinar you will:

•    be exposed to the principal of accuracy refinement
•    review the important interplay between the vision and the baseline
•    learn the three elements of a baseline analysis
•    be exposed to a few examples from other organizations
•    have the opportunity to discuss how to conduct a baseline in your organization or community.

The Natural Step Exchange is a unique network for sustainability practitioners and leaders who want to learn, share, and connect with others to accelerate the change toward a sustainable Canada. This webinar is open to the general public for registration.

Introductory memberships are designed for the general public and graduates of The Natural Step Canada’s Sustainability Learning Program courses who are interested in building their sustainability knowledge and curious about becoming more deeply engaged in the sustainability field in Canada.  For more information about how to join, please visit our website at http://www.thenaturalstep.org/exchange/.
