Affectionately referred to as an “army of individual sustainability champions” by Gretchen Digby, Ingersoll Rand’s director of global sustainability programs, dedicated employees in all corners of the world partake in Green Team activities. Each of the company’s network of nearly 100 Green Teams is comprised of employees who volunteer their time to identify, lead and participate in sustainability-related projects at their location.

Focusing not only on environmental issues, Green Teams also address economic and social issues pertaining to their local community. In this video, Digby explains some of the many important projects employees around the world have tackled. See on-site video about various sustainability initiatives.
