TORONTO, November 9, 2017 /3BL Media/ - Realized Worth launches ‘Voyager,’ the first customizable online learning environment dedicated to certifying employee volunteers in Transformative Volunteerism

Today, Realized Worth (RW) is proud to launch Voyager, our new online immersive learning environment. Voyager gives corporate citizenship practitioners an easy-to-use digital tool to train and certify employees in the practice of Transformative Volunteering, and to easily manage, track and report on training progress. Practitioners can further evolve citizenship strategy by leveraging Voyager to engage and activate employee volunteers to take part in community activities.

The courses developed for this platform train and equip employee volunteers to lead impactful, transformative volunteer projects that:

  • Contribute to social good in communities
  • Keep employees coming back to volunteer events, growing company volunteer networks
  • Increase company ROI of corporate volunteerism

The learning environment is white-labeled to the company brand and RW works closely with clients to design content that speaks directly to company culture and program strategy.

“We are the first company in the CSR field that offers an engagement platform to train employee volunteers in Transformative Volunteering. The decision to create this new product came out of years of client work – we saw a clear need and we’re excited to be part of the solution,” says Angela Parker, CEO, Realized Worth.

"Companies want employees to volunteer because of the positive benefits, which aren’t always easy to access. Corporate citizenship practitioners are the gatekeepers to these benefits, but only if they can effectively grow the program across the company. Voyager works as a mechanism to train and activate employees who can facilitate volunteer experiences for others that trigger positive benefits for the company, the community, and the employee."

Voyager is designed to host a series of video trainings and knowledge-testing assignments that challenge participants to reflect on the power and meaning behind volunteering, and their role in the volunteering process. Each specially tailored course is accompanied by helpful guides, checklists and resources. Participants can access the course on both desktop and mobile, and can connect easily with other trainees through discussion forums.
