(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Vancouver – November 17, 2011 – Molson Canadian Red Leaf Project and the Canadian Football League are teaming up to get Vancouver ready for the Grey Cup through a park clean up at English Bay this weekend.

While helping to clean up the city is a reward in itself, the first 100 people who register at RedLeafProject.ca and roll up their sleeves to volunteer will earn a ticket to the Grey Cup Festival as a thank you from the Molson Canadian Red Leaf Project and the environment.   “Vancouverites are looking to show off the best their city has to offer during Grey Cup”, says Jamie Sprules, Senior Brand Manager, Molson Canadian. “Through Red Leaf Project, we wanted to find a way to help get the city ready and reward locals with access to the Grey Cup Festival.”   Along with helping to clean up the park, the CFL will be on hand with the Grey Cup. Volunteers can take their photo with the Cup while they help make our awesome land even better.   “The Canadian Football League, its teams and its players pride themselves on giving back to our communities,” said CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon. “And with our fans help, we would like to give back to the community that will be hosting the 99th Grey Cup in just a few weeks. We encourage our fans to come join the Molson Canadian Red Leaf Project and help clean up one of our most beautiful CFL cities before it embraces thousands of Canadians from across the country for our national championship.”   Location: English Bay 1700 Beach Ave. Vancouver BC.
