Bay Roberts Lands $50,000 for New Contemporary Clubhouse

Last month, the Town of Bay Roberts got together at Kelly’s Landing and celebrated the $50,000 Community Cheer funding they received from Molson Coors. It was a day full of fun, laughter, good food and live entertainment!

Local artists Patrick Moran of The Punters, Robert Kelly of the Irish Descendants, and Ron Kelly of Middle Tickle performed for members of the community as they enjoyed a cold beer with moose burgers and other delicious foods!

The funding will be put toward building a two-storey clubhouse at the Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex in Newfoundland. The proposed plans include offices, a kitchen and canteen, dressing rooms and most impressively, a wraparound deck that overlooks the soccer and baseball fields. We can’t think of a better way to watch a game than that!
