Lincoln Financial Group To Award Special Funds To Nonprofit Organization Chosen Via Facebook® Vote

Program Encourages Facebook Users to Take Charge and Recognize a National Group Committed to Education, Freedom and Opportunity

RADNOR, Pa., Feb. 26, 2013 /3BL Media/Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC) announced today that it will award an additional $10,000 to the nonprofit organization that its Facebook® fans feel best represents President Abraham Lincoln’s ideals of education, freedom and opportunity. From now until 11:59 p.m. ET on May 17, 2013, Lincoln Financial’s fans can cast their vote for one of five national nonprofit groups which the company currently supports through regional affiliates:

We want to engage our broader social community, as well, to help decide the winner of the additional funding by voting on which organization inspires them the most.”
