The Natural Step Canada’s Sustainability Learning opportunities help you develop the knowledge, skills, and tools to strategically plan and implement sustainability initiatives in your business, community, or organization, and communicate your activities and success to stakeholders. The Natural Step Canada will be offering two sustainability learning opportunities in Vancouver, BC.
***Sustainability For Leaders Course – Level 1: Foundations***
The Natural Step Canada’s Sustainability for Leaders Course - Level 1: Foundations is a unique program which brings together core concepts of sustainability taught by inspirational speakers and draws upon 20 years of practical experience.
This course is designed for existing and emerging sustainability practitioners who want to gain the knowledge, skills, and tools to take a strategic, systems approach to communicating, planning, and managing sustainability initiatives. Graduates are able to explain and begin to apply The Natural Step Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development to help their business, community, or organization take a leadership role in sustainability. There are no course pre-requisites.

***Workshop: Embedding Sustainability into the Culture of Municipal Government***
Join us for a one day, interactive workshop to explore leading research and practice in creating a culture of sustainability in municipal organizations.
This program is based on the portfolio approach to embedding sustainability in organizational culture, developed by Dr. Stephanie Bertels and her research team at Simon Fraser University. This approach was published by the Network for Business Sustainability in 2010, and is quickly gaining traction in the business community.
