Local CITGO Marketer and Fueling Good Road Trip Team Hold Customer Appreciation Events

LAKE CHARLES, La., Nov. 27, 2013 /3BL Media/ -- Local CITGO Marketer JEI, Inc. is fueling good in the Lake Charles community and giving back to loyal customers with Customer Appreciation Days on Dec. 2, Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 at its CITGO Cash Magic locations in Sulphur, Lake Charles and Vinton, La. Fueling Good Ambassadors Adam and Diego, Miss Louisiana 2013, Jaden Leach, and representatives from local non-profits Care Help and Colors with a Cause will be on-hand to visit with customers about the important work they do in the community.

"We owe so much to our customers and wanted to find a way to show them how much we care. Living and working in this community, we know how much people want to help fuel good, so having the CITGO Fueling Good Road Trip team seemed like a great opportunity," said Herb Hargraves, director of fuel and retail sales at Cash Magic Truck Plaza. "We're excited that Adam and Diego, Miss Louisiana, and some great organizations will be here to celebrate with us."

The following Customer Appreciation Day events are three of the final stops for the 2013 CITGO Fueling Good Road Trip and all will feature Adam, Diego and Miss Louisiana. Each location will also be collecting gently used clothing for the important work done by Care Help:

  • December 2 – Cash Magic Winner's Circle CITGO at 2654 Hwy. 108, Sulphur, La.from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Colors for a Cause, a former Fueling Good winner, will also be in attendance.
  • December 4 – Cash Magic Lake Charles CITGO at 108 N. Hwy. 397, Lake Charles, La. from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Care Help of Sulphur, a local organization that provides temporary, emergency assistance to both local area residents and travelers, will be promoting its latest clothing drive.
  • December 5 – Cash Magic Vinton CITGO at 2334 Hwy. 109 South, Vinton, La. from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Colors for a Cause will also be in attendance and accepting donations.

"The donation that we received from CITGO as a Fueling Good winner has helped take our message out to more people throughout Louisiana and raise awareness about cancer," added Todd Parker, president of Colors for a Cause. "We are excited CITGO has invited us to participate and look forward to spreading the word on why Colors for a Cause is so important to so many families."

Colors for a Cause helps Louisiana families as they battle cancer by providing financial assistance for mortgage/rent, utilities, travel expenses for medical treatment, and also conducts a Christmas Outreach program to help provide these families with funds and/or gifts for the children of the family.
