Local CITGO Marketer Helps Community Honor Grayling High School Golf Team

GRAYLING, Mich., Sept. 25, 2013 /3BL Media /PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Fick & Sons Inc. helped 148 members of the Grayling community raise money to benefit local scholarship awards and pay tribute to the Grayling High School golf team, which recently lost a teammate and coach in a car accident.  The 7th Annual Irv McIsaac Memorial Golf Outing, held on Aug. 24 at the Grayling Country Club, raised nearly $7,000 for the Jason Potter Memorial Fund, dedicated to the memory of the coach who lost his life.

"And this year is particularly important to the community as we not only raise money for the local scholarship program, but as we pay tribute to the Grayling High School golf team."

Each year, the Grayling community raises money for the local scholarship program to help area students achieve their goal of attending college. This year they were joined by special guest Miss Michigan, Hayley Williams, who stopped by the event to show her support and help honor the golf team.
