Although spring has recently sprung here in Philadelphia, we look forward to seeing many of you at the Austin Challenge this fall, whether on a road bike or a beach cruiser. We consider summer to be Team I Hate Cancer’s fundraising season and write to share some our successful fundraising strategies as we plan for our 11th year supporting the Foundation.

Huck Cancer is the Ultimate
The Huck Cancer Ultimate Frisbee Tournament is a one-day, coed hat tournament and fundraiser for LIVESTRONG held every spring in San Francisco. This year the tournament takes place on March 26, 2016 at Beach Chalet Fields in Golden Gate Park. Adult and youth Ultimate players from throughout the Bay Area come together to have fun and support an important cause. The creators of the event sat down with us and talked about the fun and unique event.

The LIVESTRONG Foundation was named an Official Charity Partner of the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon. The race will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6.

There are lots of reasons we love our hometown of Austin, Texas. The BBQ, the tacos, the natural pools and miles of trails… and the annual tradition of community-wide giving, Amplify Austin. For three years now, a spring day has been dedicated to the local nonprofits that make our beloved city what it is.
