San Francisco–based NGO Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) is developing a new standard for certifying the sale and use of green power in Chile through its market-leading Green-e® certification program. During the development of the new Green-e® Renewable Energy Standard for Chile, Green-e will conduct a pilot certification process with Chile-based Viña Concha y Toro, one of the world’s largest wine producers.

Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) announced today that East Coast Power & Gas’s “EC Renewable” clean energy program is now certified by Green-e Energy, North America’s leading independent certification program for renewable energy. East Coast Power & Gas is a leading energy supply company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the New York Metro area. The EC Renewable program is a renewable energy certificate program offered to East Coast Power & Gas’s commercial customers.

Peninsula Clean Energy's ECO100 Now Green-e Certified
As of 2018 Peninsula Clean Energy's (PCE's) ECO100 option is now certified by Green-e Energy, the leading renewable energy certification and verification program in North America administered by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions (CRS). Fourteen cities, the County of San Mateo, and the social media company Facebook have chosen to power their operations with PCE's 100% renewable electricity product, which is available to all San Mateo County residents and businesses.

Kualo Switches to 100% Renewable Energy, Certified by Green-e Marketplace
Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) today announced that web hosting company, Kualo, has purchased enough Green-e Energy certified clean energy to power 100% of its U.S.–based operations, including data centers. The purchase from Native Energy is sourced from renewable energy certificates from wind farms throughout the U.S.

Spring Power & Gas Launches Green-e Certified Natural Gas Offset and REC Plans for Maryland and New Jersey
Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) announced that Spring Power and Gas, a retail energy provider of electricity and gas supply services for Maryland and New Jersey, launched two Green-e certified products: “Zero Gas,” a natural gas product paired with Green-e Climate certified carbon offsets; and “Wind REC,” a Green-e Energy certified renewable energy certificate (REC) product. Both are available to new Spring Power and Gas customers in MD and NJ.

Lancaster Choice Energy's Smart Choice Option Certified by Center for Resource Solutions' Green-e Energy Program
Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) announced today that Lancaster Choice Energy (LCE)’s Smart Choice renewable power option is now certified by Green-e Energy – North America’s leading independent certification program for renewable energy. LCE’s Smart Choice program, powered by 100% wind power, offers LCE customers the ability to “opt-up” to 100% renewable energy.

Green-e Energy Certifies Southern California Edison’s New Clean Energy Options
Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) announced on July 12, 2016 that two Southern California Edison (SCE) clean energy programs have received Green-e Energy certification—”Green Rate,” a voluntary program offering a 50% and 100% renewable energy option to SCE residential and commercial customers in California, and “Community Renewables,” a program that allows customers to contract directly with developers of clean energy facilities and receive bill credit through the utility. Clean energy generation for both programs will be located in California, and will not count towards the State’s 50% by 2030 renewable portfolio standard goal. Energy generated will be in addition to this goal.
