Arrow Electronics Hosts 196 Interns Across the United States
This summer, Arrow Electronics hosted 196 interns across the United States, giving them valuable experience in a corporate setting to kick-start their professional careers.

Most of the interns are completing the three-month program in the Denver headquarters, but others are spread throughout the country, spanning from Arrow locations in Nevada to Minnesota.

Arrow Electronics Takes Service to New Heights
This July, a group of summer interns at Arrow Electronics participated in a day of volunteer work at Gray’s and Torrey’s peaks in Colorado, taking service initiatives to an elevation of 12,000 feet. Throughout the day, they performed trail maintenance, guided by leaders from the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI).

Arrow Electronics Ignites Entrepreneurial Spirit in Denver Youth
For the fifth year, Arrow Electronics was the presenting sponsor of Junior Achievement (JA) Business Week. JA Business Week, a week-long camp for high school students, allows teens to explore leadership concepts and build confidence alongside Denver’s business leaders. The unique project-based program focuses on practical applications and real-world problem solving.

Arrow Electronics Employees Go the Distance for Girls on the Run
This spring, Arrow Electronics employees in Denver, Reno and Columbus laced up their sneakers and hit the pavement for a good cause. Employees covered over 225 miles in support of local chapters of Girls on the Run.

Arrow Electronics Supports 2017 Women in the Workplace Study
Arrow Electronics joined 221 other companies in participating in the recently released Women in the Workplace 2017, a comprehensive study of the state of women in corporate America. The research, featured as part of a Wall Street Journal special report, is part of a long-term collaboration between LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Company to give organizations the information they need to promote women’s leadership and foster gender equality.

Arrow Electronics’ Chief Strategy Officer Cathy Morris Honored with Colorado State University Alumni Award
Arrow Electronics’ Chief Strategy Officer Cathy Morris was honored with a distinguished alumni award earlier this month from the Colorado State University Alumni Association. Morris, who graduated from CSU in 1980 with a B.S. in finance and real estate, received the “College of Business Honor Alumna” award for her work guiding innovation forward at Colorado’s largest company by revenue, Arrow Electronics (NYSE:ARW).

Two executives from Arrow Electronics, Inc. were named to the Profiles in Diversity Journal’s annual Women Worth Watching list for 2017: Lisa Gerber, vice president and region chief financial officer for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in the Americas, and Vivian Kwok, vice president of human resources for Arrow in the Asia-Pacific region.
