Barbara Burke Wins 2010 Spirit of Sodexo Regional Award

Rollins Dining is proud to announce that Barbara Burke, supervisor at the Bookmark Cafe, has won the 2010 Spirit of Sodexo Regional Award. Barbara is the gold winner of Service Spirit and now moves on to the finals among the nine winners in North America.

Spirit of Sodexo is an annual corporate awards program honoring individuals and teams within the organization who demonstrate outstanding performance in support of Sodexo’s mission, values, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. This year, 1,600 employees were nominated for the award.

The program has enabled Sodexo to recognize employees at all levels of the organization who exemplify the values of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress. It also honors those who have played a key role in ensuring that Sodexo delivers on its mission to improve the quality of daily life for its clients and customers. To put it quite simply, there is no higher honor within the company.

Burke, who has worked at Rollins for the past decade, has received a $250 Esteem Pass gift card which entitles the bearer to make purchase at major retail outlets, such as Target.  She is now entered as a nominee at the National (NorAm) Level. National winners will be announced the first week of September.
