(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) September 12, 2011 - A few days ago, we had the pleasure of participating in the conference “Inclusion in the organization of persons with disabilities”, organized by the Association of Alumni of Industrial Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana, where Mercedes de la Maza of the Manpower Foundation, Brenda Becerril of Eulen, and Gloria Rodríguez Marina of Banorte, approached the importance of including individuals with disabilities in the workforce.

For Grupo Financiero Banorte, it is extremely important to be able to share the experience of the organization when incorporating into their work teams individuals with a disability. These forums were used by the organization to encourage companies to build their work teams from a diversity approach; always stressing the fact that the candidates must be assessed by their talent and skills, not their disability.   The panel was shared with the Manpower Foundation and Grupo Eulen, which, like Banorte, part of Banorte- Ixe, are committed to promoting equality and equity.   On our behalf, we recognize that there is still a long way to go; nevertheless, we will continue with firm steps, fully convinced that inclusion in the workplace is the right path.     Gloria Rodríguez Manager of Institutional Programs   GFB16699
