Banorte becomes part of the SumaRSE Network
Summary
Last February 8, Banorte, together with other companies from the state of Nuevo León, signed a cooperation agreement to begin working on the SumaRSE Network initiative, an alliance in Nuevo León that promotes the development of projects for strengthening the social fabric and citizens participation. Prominent civic, academic and government organizations will audit and measure its effectiveness and scope.
(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) March 1, 2011 - By adhering to the Nuevo León SumaRSE Network, Banorte takes an additional step in strengthening its “Community Commitment” pillar, striving to foster the development of some communities undergoing adverse conditions, in Nuevo León.
This initiative, which began in the first few years of last decade, was renewed because of the destruction caused by hurricane “Alex” in the area. Its objective is to create projects for strengthening the social fabric, that is, to build trusting relationships amongst the members of those communities where the support actions will be carried out.
