Avnet Employees Kick Off Global Month of Service

Avnet employees around the globe are embracing communities and impacting lives. As a company, we have a long-standing tradition of supporting nonprofit organizations that our employees are most passionate about. In fact, last year we supported more than 250 unique nonprofit organizations. And we continue to see more and more examples of the impact that our employees have on their communities, from supporting cancer research to raising money for underprivileged children, from nurturing the next generation of tech leaders to a legacy of community improvement.

Today, more than 18,000 Avnet employees around the world will embark on a month-long initiative dedicated to improving our communities around the world. Throughout the month of October, Avnet’s employees will be rolling up their sleeves in support of our first-ever Global Month of Service. For the next 31 days, we’ll be out in full-force fixing up schools, feeding the homeless and bettering the communities where we live and work.
