Since PYXERA Global’s first report in 2010, Global Pro Bono has only continued to grow both in terms of program size and geographic reach as companies more companies recognize the ability to make social impacts and improve their own employees’ leadership skills.

  • The employee selection process for programs;
  • Organizational factors most essential for success; and
  • The approaches of some of the most successful (and cost effective) programs that incorporate the partnership of implementing partners.

About Global Pro Bono
Companies continue to transition from ‘checkbook’ philanthropy to more strategic corporate social responsibility programs and initiatives that create shared value for communities and businesses alike. Through Global Pro Bono programs, companies place highly-skilled employees in short-term assignments with local organizations in underserved communities, working on demand-driven projects to build capability and capacity. In turn, these host clients are better able to address community challenges, including health, education, water and sanitation, food and nutrition, gender inclusion and empowerment, and housing, among others.
