September 23, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Allstate recently released its 2012 Corporate Responsibility Report. An experienced CSR reporter, Allstate worked with Addison to achieve a fresh, clean look to communicate its 2012 performance. The report showcases Allstate’s core stakeholder groups — customers, employees and agency owners — and emphasizes Allstate’s ability to use its data and expertise for good.

The team developed the report’s theme, “Knowledge, Applied”, with an accompanying focus on Allstate’s people and how they use knowledge to benefit the communities they serve. The report has been released as a full online report with Report Builder functionality, supplemented with additional data downloads and an Executive Summary PDF.

Allstate reported on its most recent progress against key performance indicators. For example, in 2012, the company successfully increased its total procurement spend with diverse suppliers to 6.6 percent, versus 5.4 percent in 2011. Additionally, Allstate reduced energy use in its owned facilities by 5.2% compared with its use in 2011.

Founded in 1931, Allstate is the largest publicly held company in the U.S. insurance sector. The Allstate Foundation has been supporting social causes for more than 60 years.
