Albertsons Companies' Southwest Division recently celebrated the grand opening of a new store in Peoria, Arizona. To welcome the newest location, the Safeway Foundation awarded over $127,000 to nearby schools and nonprofits in support of education and youth outreach programs.

For the students in this rural district, “the Verizon Innovative Learning Lab technology and curriculum has provided access to our students that they did not have before,” says Charlotte Hansen, principal at the school.
