This week my @AveryDennison colleagues and I attended the @Walmart annual Sustainability Milestone meeting at Sam M. Walton auditorium in Bentonville Arkansas.

The secretaries of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Department of Transportation (PennDOT) joined City of Chester officials, residents, and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful at Sun Village Park for beautification activities to celebrate the community’s Earth Day cleanup of the park and the positive impact of state partnership and investment.

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) today conducted a grand opening of its new home in Camden, NJ. Following several years of sustained business growth, Subaru of America announced plans in 2014 for a new headquarters campus to be located in Camden. Next month, more than 550 employees will begin to occupy the new building at a time when the company is celebrating nine consecutive years of record sales and 10 years of consecutive growth. The new facility, at 250,000 square feet, plus an adjacent new training center will more than double the size of the automaker’s previous headquarters and bring employees from four sites onto one campus.

In the two years we’ve held the awards, we’ve received inspiring entries from eBay sellers across the nation who shared their small business stories and told us how eBay helped them pursue their dreams. Each year, we select a number of finalists and then ask the community to vote for the sellers they think are making a difference.

The Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, the Federal State capital Kiel, the Seaport of Kiel and the Costa Group came together on Thursday, April 26, 2018, aboard AIDAluna to discuss the ways the ways to expand their current collaboration on sustainability initiatives. Their objective is to further develop the maritime infrastructure, the economy, and tourism in northern Germany sustainably and to make them “future-proof.”

JetBlue this week released its 2017 environmental, social and governance (ESG) report outlining the airline’s long-term environmental strategy and labor and safety performance, among other topics. This year’s report was developed with investors in mind and produced according to the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards for the airline industry and recommendations from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
