Acre's Global Impact

Ingrained in Acre’s DNA is a strong sense of purpose – we aspire to catalyse social and environmental improvements though our activities. In 2020 we celebrate the opening of our Amsterdam office, augmenting our existing presence in London and New York. An enhanced presence in Europe represents an opportunity to increase our global impact.
This office opening is the result of an incredibly successful 2019, from both our London and New York offices. Acre is already well known across Benelux, and our new office will facilitate yet further growth within the region whilst we meet the rapidly increasing global demand for our services. In addition we welcome Harco Leertouwer who joins us as Acre’s Managing Director, Benelux. Harco brings extensive international recruitment and international business growth experience, having been a Director of Michael Page in Germany and Managing Director for Badenoch & Clark Germany and the Netherlands. More recently, Harco has been running his own executive search business, focusing on Sustainability, Renewable Energy and Clean Technology. Harco is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
Harco is an active member of the Climate Reality Project and was trained by the institute’s founder, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and former US Vice President, Al Gore.
Harco is initially joined in Amsterdam by Caitlin Murrell, one of Acre’s most experienced Research Consultant’s, who will support on searches across all of our markets. We have ambitious growth plans for our Amsterdam office and so we will be looking to hire Consultants over the coming months. You can find more information about working for Acre here.
