The Atlantic City Electric chapter of OLE had the honor of being a sponsor at the Día del Niño festival in Atlantic City.

This spring, 40 U.S. Bank volunteers participated at the annual Women’s Build with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento. Through her volunteerism, Westrum said, she has also learned several new construction skills that have helped her renovate her own home.

In 2023, Delmarva Power proudly contributed more than $2.3 million to local nonprofits and 631 employees devoted more than 17,200 hours – the equivalent of 2,150 workdays – to volunteer with hundreds of organizations across Delaware and Maryland.

I’ve always found it valuable to give your available time to help support and educate the younger generation. Thanks to my career at Covia, I’ve been able to follow this principle and give back to those in my community while following my passion for environmentalism.

We worked with the Wetlands Institute to repair fencing along Stone Harbor Boulevard to help keep nesting diamondback terrapins safe from traffic.
