One student told the Landfill Ops Manager that was the coolest thing he had seen all summer. The group also enjoyed watching the tractor trailers dispose of the waste. When asked how long the students thought it would take to unload the tractor trailer, answers ranged anywhere from three days to three minutes. The tour of the Old Dominion Landfill facility concluded with sack lunches and Q&A. Republic’s landfill tours are educational, engaging and fun.
