Aramark (NYSE: ARMK), a global leader in food, facilities and uniforms, announced that it will donate $1 to local community centers when consumers join or follow its Feed Your Potential 365 health campaign* at FYP365.com/community or on Instagram @Aramark. Funding from this effort will be distributed through the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, a respected national community action network, and will be earmarked to support nutrition and cooking educational experiences that help children and families in underserved communities lead healthier lives.

Xylem Watermark volunteers from Yellow Springs, Ohio spent World Water Monitoring Day with EarthEcho at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, participating in water education activities for more than 100 students from surrounding schools. Volunteers joined EarthEcho co-founder and President Philippe Cousteau Jr. in leading students through invasive species removal, tree-planting, and water quality testing using the EarthEcho Water Challenge test kit.
Lifesum, has become the first health app to allow its users (25 million internationally) to log and track ‘plogging’: an emerging environmentally conscious exercise craze from Scandinavia in which people integrate the collection of litter within their jogging workout. The move has been supported by Keep America Beautiful, which has served as the nation’s nonprofit steward of litter prevention for more than six decades.

Marina Bay Sands Team Members volunteered to join 12 beneficiaries from Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) Centre for Adults to purchase much needed groceries for 60 financially vulnerable families for the holiday season. The beneficiaries paired up with Team Members who provided guidance as they shopped for the groceries at the Giant Hypermarket at Tampines.
Global outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland recently celebrated a record number of volunteer champions at its Stratham, New Hampshire global headquarters with its annual recognition breakfast. Since 1992, Timberland has offered employees paid time to serve their community through the brand’s Path of Service™ Program. Employees who serve all 40 of their available service hours in a year earn membership in the company’s 40’s Club. In 2017, 163 Stratham employees served all their available hours and were welcomed into the 40’s Club. This was 32 more than 2016, and set a new record for participation.
Employees from Xylem, a leading global water technology company that is dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, logged more than 35,800 volunteer hours in 2017, participating in activities aimed at providing and protecting safe water resources in communities and educating people about water issues. Xylem Watermark, the company’s corporate citizenship platform, launched a service-focused employee engagement program in 2016 in support of this mission with a goal of logging 100,000 volunteer hours by the end of 2018. This year’s achievement brings the total number of volunteer hours to nearly 57,000, more than halfway to that goal.
