generationOn, the youth division of Points of Light, has collaborated with U.S. Cellular for its 2016 The Future of Good program, which was announced today. The program champions and invests in caring, compassionate and capable youth who make a positive impact in their communities. generationOn, which has a history of recognizing outstanding youth for their accomplishments, led a nationwide search to help U.S. Cellular select six children representing four different causes.

Growing up, we all have our heroes. For most little kids it might be a policeman or a fireman, but for one little boy in St. John's county, it's the men that do a thankless job everyday, and what they do for him will warm your heart.

A professional sand sculpture team called Team Sandtastic built an 80-ton “Wildlife & the Arts” exhibition sculpture at the Manatee Public Beach on Anna Maria Island in Manatee County, Florida, in celebration of Keep Manatee Beautiful’s SandBlast 2016.
