Habitat for Humanity is bringing together professional builders this summer for its Home Builders Blitz. Presented by Ply Gem, the event is a weeklong effort to build and improve homes across the U.S.

They came, they saw, they went bowling. And they also raised $15,000 in scholarship money.

Local Habitat organizations will identify home improvement opportunities in their communities and lead the work with veterans and Wells Fargo volunteers to beautify homes by landscaping, painting and other improvements.

On Tuesday, May 16 Voya employees volunteered with Habitat for Humanity as part of their annual day of service.

As part of Habitat for Humanity’s annual AmeriCorps Build-a-Thon event, more than 350 Habitat AmeriCorps members and alumni will travel to select cities in May and June, to build, repair and landscape 22 homes.

With a donation of more than $190,000 to Habitat, Prologis employees volunteered on May 19 in more than 20 communities around the world with several Habitat projects that include neighborhood revitalization and construction.

For every 50 hours of volunteer time logged – whether through a JetBlue organized event or their own independent volunteer activity – JetBlue donates two round-trip travel certificates to that crewmember’s chosen charity.

Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, donated $15,000 to the Arbor Day Foundation and $15,000 to GlobalGiving in honor of Earth Day.
