Trinity Seafood, a Sysco specialty seafood company based in New Jersey, recently partnered with local food banks and fishermen to pilot the New Jersey Seafood Gleaning program.

Employees at our World Headquarters recently packed 500 relief kits for Feeding America’s disaster preparedness program. The kits will be used to help those affected by natural disasters, such as hurricanes.

In addition to employee efforts during Hunger Action Month®, Smithfield works with Feeding America® throughout the year for the company’s signature hunger-relief initiative Helping Hungry Homes®.

Smithfield Foods, Inc., Kroger, and Aric Almirola, NASCAR driver of the No. 10 Smithfield Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing, joined forces to donate 40,000 pounds of protein to Feed More, central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization.
