RobecoSAM wins Institutional Investor magazine‘s “ESG Manager of the Year” award

The European Awards 2016 by the renowned trade magazine Institutional Investor honored European asset managers whose innovative investment strategies, portfolio construction and strategic asset allocation have succeeded in the challenging European landscape.

FOX25, in partnership with The Trust for Public Land, today launched Boston’s 2016 Cox Conserves Heroes to honor local environmental volunteers. Nominations are being accepted now through July 25 at myfoxboston.com for volunteers in FOX25’s viewership area who are creating, preserving or enhancing outdoor spaces. Nominee activities must be performed on a volunteer basis and may not be part of one’s paid job.

In partnership with lead sponsor, Campbell Soup Company, and General Mills, Net Impact is excited to announce the winners of the first-ever Forward Food Competition, a program that gave participants the chance to launch a new sustainable product or service within the food and beverage category. The response was overwhelmingly positive with over 140 applicants tackling a wide range of issues in society— food waste, unsustainable farming and recidivism, to name a few.

This month, Whirlpool Corporation was named No. 204 on Newsweek’s 2016 Green Rankings list, one of the most reputed corporate rankings assessing environmental efforts of the 500 largest publicly-traded companies in the United States based on corporate sustainability and environmental impact.

Hundreds of students and professionals answered the call to help fix our broken food system by looking to nature to create design solutions. Now, after receiving 86 submissions from 18 countries, the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge judges have chosen ten winning teams.

The World Organization of Dredging Associations (WODA), during the gala dinner of its triennial international conference in Miami, proudly presented four Environmental Excellence Awards in two categories, Environmental Dredging and Dredging for Coastal Reinforcement.
