Lockheed Martin’s 2015 Sustainability Report details how we manage and achieve progress in Talent Competitiveness. Our objective is to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that attracts, engages and develops talent. Talented, resilient and engaged employees drive performance and innovation. Our employees generate wide-ranging societal solutions to complex global challenges.

One example of this philosophy is our Target Zero program, an initiative that motivates employees to embrace a zero injuries mentality. Since launching Target Zero in 2004, we’ve achieved a 64% improvement in day away case rates, a 67% improvement in recordable rates and a 77% improvement in severity (lost days) rates.
